Why It Works for Families:

Created by a former elementary teacher and mom of three, this resource has been thoughtfully tested and refined at the family table to meet the real-life needs of busy households. The community helpers theme keeps kids engaged and excited to begin each morning, introducing them to the important people and jobs that help our communities work, grow, and thrive. The reusable format makes it easy to swap and rotate pages for fresh variety all month long, and with quick prep and minimal supplies, the September Morning Menu builds structure, independence, and confidence in children, while giving parents the gift of a smoother start to the day.

How to Use It:
Getting started is simple! Print the pages and slide them into a restaurant-style menu cover or laminate them for durability and reuse. The activities are color-coded by difficulty, so you can easily choose pages that match your child’s developmental level. Rotate pages regularly, swapping even one or two every few days, to keep things fresh and exciting, much like rotating toys. This small change sparks curiosity, prevents boredom, and helps your child look forward to their Morning Menu each day.

About the Creator:
As both a former elementary school teacher and a mom of three little girls, I know firsthand how hectic mornings with young kids can feel. I created the Morning Menu series to bring calm, structure, and joy to our mornings, and now I’m sharing it with other families who want the same. Each activity has been tested at our own learning table, refined to fit into real-life routines, and designed to spark curiosity while keeping kids engaged and independent.

My hope is that the September Morning Menu gives your family smoother, more intentional mornings filled with connection, creativity, and confidence, so you can start the day not just getting by, but truly enjoying it.

There’s so much noise out there about what to be doing with kids at home with school work and learning, and it’s so comforting to have a download each month where I know they are getting good information and I’m getting hot coffee!

We are LOVING the September Menu! Firefighter family here so my littles are loving all the first responders pictures!

Kids are loving the September Menu!! Thank you for thinking about this theme!!

  4. Samara (verified owner) –

Love!! So great for adding into our homeschooling. We use them in our rotations and it creates fun but also educational activists! And huge bonus that they’re independent!!

My daughter is having so much from with the first responder menu each morning.

We are loving the morning menu. My son who never would take more than a couple of minutes to scribble for coloring is finally sitting down to practice tracing and writing!

One suggestion, for the yellow category upper case and lower case entire alphabet letter tracing pages, it would help if the numbers were a tiny bit bigger. It is so hard to see the 1, 2, 3 (especially in a menu cover) for those still learning to write letters. I’d love to be able to step back for those pages and enjoy my coffee but currently have to hover to show him the 1, 2, 3, etc. and he loves to do those pages daily! I noticed this with the Fall Equinox one as well.

    5 Stars!!

I share the link to A Pop of You morning menus with all of my Home School Mom friends because they’re THAT good. My son is easily distracted, but LOVES learning … these menus have been a life savor because they’re easy for me to pop in a menu and he loves the colors and pictures on every page.

I’ll certainly be buying every months menu, and recommending them to every single one of my friends.

This was our first time purchasing Morning Menus. from A Pop of You. I must say my almost 7yrs old LOVES these sheets and turning them into a fun dry-erase-menu has been magical! She uses different colors daily and has FUN. The theme might not be our fav but that doesn’t get in the way of how much we love the pages.

My son loves all things firefighters, police officers, and garbage trucks.. this month’s morning menu has been the biggest hit so far!!
