Why It Works for Families:
Created by a former elementary teacher and mom of three, this resource has been thoughtfully tested and refined at the family table to meet the real-life needs of busy households. The construction and building theme keeps kids engaged and excited to begin each morning, sparking creativity as they explore how things are built and put together. The reusable format makes it easy to swap and rotate pages for fresh variety all month long, and with quick prep and minimal supplies, the May Morning Menu builds structure, independence, and confidence in children, while giving parents the gift of a calmer, smoother start to the day.
How to Use It:
Getting started is simple! Print the pages and slide them into a restaurant-style menu cover or laminate them for durability and reuse. The activities are color-coded by difficulty, so you can easily choose pages that match your child’s developmental level. Rotate pages regularly—swapping even one or two every few days—to keep things fresh and exciting, much like rotating toys. This small change sparks curiosity, prevents boredom, and helps your child look forward to their Morning Menu each day.
