6 years of growing alongside the little girl who m 6 years of growing alongside the little girl who made me a mom. She will never understand the magnitude of what she’s taught me. Those first babies are something. They flip your world upside down in the most unexpected ways. One minute you’re the “you” you’ve always been and known. And then the nurses lay them on your chest and you become the “you” that you were always meant to be—softer, stronger, more patient, more fierce. The world looks different after that moment.
